How to Work with Lee Roofing

When filing an insurance claim, we understand the process can be daunting and confusing for many homeowners. But it does not have to be this way. Our insurance claims team at Lee Roofing has the experience and understanding to help you with not only the damage to your home but the policy and paperwork as well.  In addition, we work with your insurance adjuster and walk you through each step of the process, which will give you peace of mind to know the job is handled properly.

1. Call Lee Roofing for an Inspection

If there has been a recent storm in your area and you are not sure your roof has sustained damage, call Quality Exteriors. We offer a no-cost, no-obligation inspection and can assess any damage and the cost of repairs.

2. File an Insurance Claim with Your Provider

After the inspection, your Lee Roofing Claims Specialist will have a detailed summary and report to help you file your insurance claim. In most cases, this process may take a few days to receive a response from your insurance provider. During this period, you will receive a claim number. Be sure to keep this number top-of-mind as it will be used as a reference for the job.

3. Complete the Insurance Adjustment

Once the insurance claim has been filed, an insurance adjuster will usually contact you within 48 hours to schedule a time for the adjustment and discuss what all it entails. Once you receive this information, contact your Lee Roofing Claims Specialist so we can coordinate with the adjuster to be on site when their assessment is completed.

4. Complete the Policy Paperwork

After the adjustment, you will receive paperwork regarding the scope of work and their findings. Lee Roofing will use this as their guide to start an estimate for the job. Again, it is important to keep the claim number ready because it will be used again.

5. Finalize the Payment Plan

The final step in the process revolves around the payment. In many scenarios, storm damage insurance claims have payment terms divided among two payments (possibly more) at different times and upon the completion of the job. Your Lee Roofing Claims Specialist will guide you through this final step.

Schedule a Professional, No-cost Inspection

It is our goal to alleviate any worries or stress you have during this time and we will make sure the insurance claims process is seamless from start to finish.

Once your claim is approved, we will review the itemized breakdown from your insurance company with you to explain the scope of loss and schedule construction. We also work with your insurance company to make sure all funds are released in a timely manner.

If you are concerned you may have damage from a prior storm, contact Lee Roofing right away and one of our Claims Specialists will promptly schedule your appointment. We work closely with all insurance companies and will ensure you receive a fair insurance settlement if a claim is involved.
